With the recent opening of the Poseidon Undersea Resort, I realized we were one step closer to my childhood dreams of living under the sea. I’ve always wanted the recessed lighting, the flickering rays of sunlight with schools of fish swimming past the living room windows. I never thought it would be the best place for an evil lair like you see in movies, but as a base of operations, I’d be willing to go for it.
I hope they avoid the clichéd restroom signs: Mermaids and Mermen etched into stainless steel doors. Alas, I may never have the chance to find out for myself. At a reservation rate of $30,000 per week, my childhood vision of undersea living may have to remain just a dream.
