Hunt senior designer Emily Morishita recently participated in an intense CPAT — Community Planning Assistance Team — session to help the City of Kingsburg develop a downtown revitalization strategy. The project is the first
for the California chapter of the American Planning Association and involved a small team of planners, urban designers, and economists. The City requested a signage and wayfinding team member to advise on attracting motorists from Highway 99. The team had 4 days to hold a public stakeholders meeting, tour the city, interview over 20 business and property owners, develop a strategy, and present to city council.
