Wayne Hunt founded Hunt Design in 1977 and is a nationally recognized leader in Environmental Graphics and Wayfinding Signage design. He and the firm have planned, designed and implemented more than two hundred signage & graphics and exhibit assignments in twenty U.S. states and in countries around the world. He is active in the Society for Environmental Graphic Design, serving as its past national president and selected as the organization’s sole 2004 Fellow. Mr. Hunt is the author of three books on signage and related graphics design and is an Adjunct Professor at Art Center College of Design. A frequent speaker and ambassador for environmental graphics, Hunt has presented at USC School of Architecture, Harvard University and many other universities around the country. “Helping people access, enjoy and understand complex places is both an art and a science. We’re really in the place-making business.”

John Temple joined Hunt Design in 1989 and soon became lead designer on many of the firm’s important environmental graphics projects. A graduate of both Art Center College of Design and Claremont McKenna College, he has been a key player in wayfinding assignments for The Walt Disney Company, Los Angeles International Airport, Henry Ford Museum, Chicago’s Museum of Science & Industry and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Named Partner and co-owner of Hunt Design in 2003, he is a natural leader and directs the design of many of the firm’s projects and participates actively in its management. “Working on exciting projects with the best architects is our specialty. Bringing the dynamics of graphic design to the building design process is incredibly rewarding.”

Jennifer Bressler is a graduate of both Art Center College of Design and the University of Wisconsin at Madison. After working at a major corporate design office in Los Angeles, she joined Hunt Design as a senior designer in 1996 and quickly emerged as project manager for many of the firm’s high profile exhibit clients including San Diego Zoo, Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History. In 2003 she was named Partner and became co-owner of Hunt Design, focusing on exhibit design and graphics for museums, cities and parks. An inspiring leader and project manager, she is active in the firm’s design direction and management. “Our work is about story-telling. Engaging graphics and meaningful design bring spaces to life.”
